APPLICATION PROCEDURES

 Application for certification as an approved practitioner or therapist at A Cup of Tea is a voluntary act entered into by practitioners who choose to meet our high standards. Certification enables a practitioner to obtain a credential, which attests to his or her knowledge in the field, and affords them the recognition of having met an identified standard of achievement, and also to practice, or offer services at A Cup of Tea.

The certifying process includes…

Completion of all informational material, including a biographical sketch and health questionnaire.

Completion of a screening interview with our director to assess applicant's personal holistic philosophy.

Submission of evidence of licensure requirements and copies of diplomas of undergraduate, graduate, and special or residency training, along with evidence of any other certification, board certification and/or other postgraduate training.

Submission of a current curriculum vitae or résumé.

Five professional references, two (2) of which should have known applicant for at least five (5) years.

Completion of the qualifying examination and receiving an acceptable score.
