Dear Virato,

Jane and I listened to last Saturday's show. Yes, another great show. You are a great interviewer and do a great job.

Your question about, "Are we past the point of no return" to the editor of E Magazine was a good one. I found his answer very interesting. He said no, yet he went on to describe a situation of continued degradation of the environment. I believe he's in denial.

I'm an optimistic person and do all I can to protect our environment. I believe it starts from our own backyard. I've been following the idea of sustainability of our natural resources for many years, and it doesn't look very good. Human beings are an interesting species.

There are two talents/skills that I like about you as an interviewer;

  • Your ability to be present and transparent at the same time.
  • Your skill of being in control, but not controlling.

I love how you skillfully blend these two together allowing your guest to express him/herself; their passion, feelings, and knowledge on the topic as completely as possible in the time allotted.

It shows that you take the time to know the topic. You ask good questions and give your guest time to answer. Your response to their comments are supportive and allows your guest to get to the "meat of the matter" quickly.

Listening to this creative, "vocal artwork panorama" on my radio, or computer, is a very satisfying experience.

Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration.

Dear Clear Channel Communications Management,

I've recently moved to the Asheville area, and was pleased to discover the radio program, VIRATO LIVE! on 880 Saturdays.  I have always enjoyed talk shows on radio, and his program features interesting speakers and subjects that often are not covered on talk shows.

There appears to be a very large interest in the subjects that Virato covers in his talk show.  Many of his guests are internationally known and often have top selling books.  It would probably be a very wise decision, from a commercial perspective, to expand the programming of VIRATO LIVE! to a daily program.  Programming such as VIRATO LIVE! is a natural venue to attract advertising dollars from a wide range of companies and businesses that are considered "holistic"... from Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to highbred cars made by Toyota and Honda.

Thank you for having such a positive and different show as VIRATO LIVE! on the air.

Kind Regards,

I deeply appreciate the opportunity to hear and actually speak to such outstanding individuals as Steven Halpern, a leader in the field of music therapy and Deepak Chopra who is clearly one of the leading spiritual thinkers in the world today.

I know first hand the play of Deva Premal and Miten.  Their concerts are truly a spiritual experience rarely found in public performances.

To have access to such people on a local level is truly a blessing and a treat.  More of the same please.

VIRATO LIVE!

Your Saturday radio show has just ended, and I am as usual delighted with much of what I heard on your show from you, and your featured speakers, and also from the ragtag somewhat random scattering of ordinary public listeners who are able to call in and be heard on some topics dear to their hearts.   Thank you.

I had the pleasure of speaking directly to you and the public today, and for this I am grateful.  Awakening the public and educating everyone who, like me, is usually too tied up by more immediate problems, to see the Whole Earth View. I greatly appreciate your show, and I wish you many more.

Dear Virato,

I just wanted to thank you for bringing such a fine, spiritually uplifting show to the Asheville area airwaves.  I've never heard anything quite like it, but it's evidently needed.  Your guests are always compelling, stimulating, and bright, and your program is the first time I've indulged in "appointment radio".

I wish we had you for more than two hours a week and I hope to see a station dedicated to the paranormal, esoteric, spiritual, mind virus, new age vibe some day.  There's tons of interest around Asheville for these topics.

Keep up the great job.  Can't wait to see what you have coming up next!

Re:  VIRATO LIVE!

Stay the way you are and let everyone experience a wonderful thing. For me the show allows me to listen and learn, on deeper level, subjects that most of my friends will not even chat about. I enjoy these 2 hours and get a lot from them. Thank you ,and congrats on the possibility of showing more people what we already new--that you are worth listening to.

Dear Virato,

You are one of the few radio or television interviewers who knows enough about marijuana to ask thoughtful questions which can lead to an informative discussion such as the one we had on air Saturday.

Dear Virato,

Please keep me in mind if you ever want to do another interview. I found you incredible -- almost leaving me speechless a number of times with your insight and questions. Amazing. I loved it. And your voice is amazing.
