The idea of the performance is a stage show with a holistic, metaphysical flavor, including music, song, psycho-drama, and spirituality. Now offered in a psycho-spiritual context, it can expand to include a separate stage performance. We expect it may be controversial, so we need a producer with power, intelligence, numerous professional contacts and above all, a warm and open heart.
Virato, the essence and
creator of the Theatre Tantra concept, has appeared at
countless metaphysical New Age expos since the early 80s and has Virato has been in touch an A&R company in New York City, talking about doing a series of CDs and DVDs, and he has had several meetings and discussions with an International Award Winning documentary videographer in Philadelphia. Theatre Tantra is an extension of reality performances...now in vogue, but with substance. It's about letting go to enlightenment. Theatre Tantra now seeks birthing into the world of Media & the Arts, indeed to reach more people and create abundance for all. It's Mysticism, Beyond Dr. Phil, and Paradise Hotel all wrapped up in one concept. Not quite Hair, or Jesus Christ Superstar, and surely not The Passion of the Christ, it's a performance calling to the hearts and minds of people who are ready for love and peace, as opposed to fear and violence. It's time. However, unlike a Christian, Moslem, or dogmatic and restrictive religious message, we offer the 60's generation message of love, freedom and openness...one of expanded consciousness. It's time has again come, as it has over the Millennia. From a marketing perspective, this performance is aimed at the newly created constituency demographically called the [a 60s phrase] "make-love-not-war" sub-culture. However, it’s hardly a sub-society any longer. It numbers over 100,000,000 (one hundred million) people, a highly loyal, volatile 30% of society!
The time is now, while war and fear of terrorism caste a shadow of doom upon the American people. They are ready for relief. Let's give it to them.... Let's dance and be joyful. Let's allow Theatre Tantra to bathe the world in ecstasy and bliss...long over due. The cast will consist of those "walking-their-talk" so to speak. You know them as vegetarians, meditators, healers and those who "get it."
Of course they will also have, or very
quickly learn, performance and theatrical technique, or will have already
had formal training in theatre, be singers, musicians, etc. We have
contact with some already, and now reach
